Kick Bans Edin Ross After Rainbet Deal
Streaming platform Kick unexpectedly blocked Edin Ross for just a day - immediately after he announced the severance of relations with the former partner of Stake and the conclusion of a deal with the new brand Rainbet.
According to the streamer himself, the contract includes impressive amounts: $100 million in advance and another $50 million annually. However, the ban lasted exactly 24 hours and was lifted without any explanation from the platform.
This immediately gave rise to a wave of rumors. Users noted that Kick is owned by the co-founders of Stake, which means that the situation looks suspicious, to say the least. The community is actively discussing the version of a possible conflict of interest.
š At the same time, another popular streamer, Trainwreck, rejected a similar offer from Rainbet for $200 million, saying that the brand did not have enough liquidity to fulfill the terms of such a contract. There was even a theory on the network that Rainbet could be a subsidiary of Stake, and the story of the ban of Edin Ross was a pre-planned PR move to promote a new casino brand.
